Kingston-Knight Consultancy are very pleased to be working with a high street bank who require a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor to join them on to cover a busy successful branch:
Job Purpose-To provide an efficient and friendly service to all branch customers, through identifying customers’ needs and providing appropriate solutions by meeting personal objectives and individual sales targets.
To assist Branch Manager in supervising Mortgage Arrangers and Customer Service Assistants and deputising for Branch Manager in their absence.
Key Accountabilities
Identifies customer needs and sales opportunities at the counter or sales desk and, if relevant, sells the appropriate product or service.
Conducts mortgage interviews, providing advice and a recommendation where appropriate.
Follows up sales leads received from colleagues or previous customer contacts, maximising all opportunities to progress branch performance against target.
Carries out additional responsibilities in the branch as agreed with management, such as lending administration, supervision and training of other staff.
This role is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Individuals undertaking this role are required to achieve and maintain defined fitness and competence standards as detailed within the Training & Competence Scheme
.Essential Skills / Experience
Must have CeMAP and face to face mortgage sales experience
Maths/English GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent.
Previous direct customer contact in a financial services environment. Proven sales ability.
Flexible and resilient team player.Initiative, communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Required to work Saturdays on a rota basis
